Luna

In November 2024 Luna unfortunately got hit by a car which resulted in her Left Fore Limb to be shattered. Luckily Luna's owners were able to get her to the vets in time.

The vets had come up with a plan to save the limb which included multiple surgeries. As Luna's owner done more research she felt that the surgeries would not be beneficial to Luna. Luna is a super high energy dog who just loves to run and sometimes loses her brain which means she's a bit clumsy! because of this Luna's owner felt it would be unfair to put her through the recovery of the surgeries and the best option of Luna would be to amputate her leg.

This what they decided to do and almost straight after the amputation she was back to her normal self, and to prove her owner was right the day they brought her home she decided to fly off the sofa and land on her wound!

Luna has been coming to me to help build up her fitness, allow her to have non-weight bearing exercise and to build muscle on the other 3 of her legs.

Luna does amazing on 3 legs and just watching her swim you wouldn't even know.
